Episodes

Episodes are the primary unit of output — a single installment in your series. The Episodes page lists all episodes in a project.

Click New Episode and supply an episode ID (lowercase, digits, hyphens) and a display name.

The Outline view provides a high-level structural view of the episode — scenes, beats, and the overall shape of the story. Use it to get an overview before diving into the screenplay or individual scenes.

The Screenplay view is the main writing surface for the episode. See Screenplay for the full reference.

Episode properties are split into two sections.

Core — Name, description.

Story — Properties relevant to the writing and production of this specific episode:

Character Notes	Per-episode character behaviour notes

Premise	The episode's core premise

These fields are used by the AI agent for context and by the Episode Plan's acceptance criteria.

The Episode Timeline provides a read-only preview of the full episode composed from all scene timelines. Use it to review pacing before committing to a render.
