Quick Start
Sign in, create your project and first episode, then follow the pipeline.
1. Sign in
Go to ordinaryanimator.com and sign in with your Google account.
2. Create a project
From the Projects page, click New Project. Enter a Project ID (lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens -- this appears in exported filenames and cannot be changed later) and a display Name.
3. Create an episode
Open your project, go to Episodes, and click New Episode. Give it a name.
4. Follow the pipeline
As you work, the guide bar -- the slim strip under the page header on nearly every page -- always shows your recommended next step. When that step is on the page you're looking at, it tells you what to do right there (often with a link straight to the field); when it's elsewhere, it gives you a Next button to jump to it. If you're ever unsure what to do next, just follow the guide bar. See The guide bar.
You're never locked into that order -- you can work in whatever sequence suits you and return to earlier steps at any time as your project evolves. See the production pipeline for the full set of phases, from setup through to delivery.
5. Set up ComfyUI
Before you can generate images or video, you need to connect a ComfyUI backend. See ComfyUI Setup to choose between local ComfyUI, Comfy Cloud, or both, and get everything configured and tested.
